Every CAO course from 2020 to 2025 — 2,409 courses, 8,497 course-year records — searchable in one place. Round 1, Round 2 and end-of-season points, midpoints, six-year trend charts, a Leaving Cert points calculator that shows your reach on every course, and plain-English explanations of the CAO's notation (#, AQA, midpoints, random selection).

Where the data comes from

Directly from the official points charts published by the CAO at cao.ie — no scraping of third parties, no manual transcription. The processing pipeline maps the CAO's own spreadsheet columns by name, so what you see here is what the CAO published.

The 2026 outlook on course pages is last year's points plus the average yearly change, widened by each course's own volatility. It is a guide derived from history, not a prediction of the future — points are set by supply and demand each August, and nobody can promise otherwise.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with the CAO, any college, or any grinds school. No course is promoted over another, and rankings come from the data alone. If a sponsor ever appears here, it will be clearly labelled and will never change what the numbers say.
